This Privacy Policy explains how Grounded Growth ("Grounded Growth," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit groundedgrowth.org, subscribe to our emails, sign up for text messages, purchase a resource, or otherwise interact with us. By using our website and services, you agree to the practices described here.
We collect only what we need to serve you well. This may include:
Information you give us. Your name, email address, and phone number when you join our email list, opt in to text messages, fill out our contact form, or make a purchase. If you buy a digital product, the details needed to complete that order.
Information collected automatically. Basic technical and usage data such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, and how you found us. This helps us understand what is working and keep the site secure.
When you sign up for the Weekly Reset, a freebie, or our newsletter, we add you to our email list, which is managed through our email provider, Kit (formerly ConvertKit). We use your email address to send the resource you requested, helpful content, podcast and blog updates, and occasional offers. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
If you opt in to a Grounded Growth text membership or SMS list, we will use your phone number to send the messages you signed up for, which may include reminders, encouragement, resource links, and occasional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.
Joining our texts is always your choice and is never required to make a purchase. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and you can reply HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing, and your consent to receive texts is not shared with anyone except the service providers that help us deliver those messages.
Our digital products, such as the ROOTS Morning Journals, are sold and delivered through our checkout partner, Payhip. When you make a purchase, your payment is processed securely by Payhip and its payment processors. We do not collect or store your full card details. Payhip shares with us the information needed to fulfill your order and provide support, such as your name, email, and what you purchased.
Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site running smoothly, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our pages. We may use analytics tools and our hosting and security provider to collect aggregate, non-identifying information about site traffic and performance. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent, though some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
Some pages include embedded content, such as podcast players from Spotify or videos from YouTube. These third-party services may collect information about your interaction with that content under their own privacy policies, just as if you had visited their websites directly.
We use the information we collect to deliver the resources, emails, and texts you request, fulfill and support your purchases, respond to your messages, improve our content and website, and keep our services secure. We may also use it to send you updates and offers you can opt out of at any time.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the trusted service providers that help us operate, such as our email platform, SMS provider, checkout partner, and hosting provider, and only so they can perform those services for us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email, opt out of texts by replying STOP, and contact us to request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of your personal information.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect about you, to request that we delete it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell personal information, there is nothing to opt out of in that regard. To make any of these requests, email us at the address below and we will respond as required by law.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information and work with reputable providers that maintain their own safeguards. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our website and resources are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be communicated by email or text.
